Turkey Tail is an edible mushroom usually consumed as a tea, however it also as a long history of use in Japanese traditional medicine.

Turkey Tail can be made in to a tea, how it's traditionally consumed. It can also be added to soups and smoothies. It's not traditionally eaten as a whole mushroom due to it's some what leathery consistency, so powder form makes it an ideal way to ingest it and enjoy it's flavour and health benefits.

WHERE IT’S FROM
We source our mushrooms from China where its taste and benefits have been enjoyed for thousands of years, so much so that they were worth their weight in silver in medieval times. Considered a delicacy and a nutritional powerhouse, China has many research centres dedicated to the development of mushrooms for both food and medicine, meaning mushroom powders sourced from China can be some of the best in the world.
We make sure our mushrooms are just the fruiting body, be ware of suppliers who bulk out their product with the myceliated grain (i.e. blending the substrate the mycelium grows on into the powder, reducing the amount of the desirable active ingredients).
